Oh I'm gonna have to give that a try, thanks!

Doesn't seem that irrational imo
I'm thinking maybe glue sticks that are inserted into glue guns, that melt when heat is applied?
I think personal milestones are always interesting to hear about, they can be inspiring for others. Its also always nice to hear about how others are enjoying the same sport. But probably does need some additional flavor, if it were just a screenshot of the route with no story, that might get boring pretty fast.
I've not been here long, but your comments have always been a joy to read. I'm a software engineer myself so I understand the burnout of having to manage all the things all the time. I'm thankful for all that you've done for the community, and hope you can come back and enjoy it once again whenever you're ready.
I'm using wefwef until Sync drops for Lemmy. It's pretty good, especially for a non native app.
Sunset rides are always a treat. Which park is this?
Oof that's rough. Gotta respect the terrain and ride conservatively. I broke my collarbone from long boarding and was out of commission for like 3 months. I wish you a speedy recovery, and hope you give riding another chance afterwards.
I used to be a solo rider, but have come to appreciate the company of club mates and friends to share the moment with. I like riding alongside rivers and mountains, and under deep tree cover. Gives me a chance to forget about the headaches of daily life and live in the moment and feel alive. I used to wander everywhere by myself, using Strava's heat map as a guide to discover nice routes. After getting into a few road incidents I've gotten a bit more careful heh. If only there were less cars on the road, I'd roam everywhere.
Hah nice, didn't even think of that
I love that channel! I learned so much about how to make things I grew up eating, I appreciate that they don't assume you know any knowledge and explain why things are done, makes it easy for a noob like me to generalize the techniques to match what's in my fridge.
