So you're saying we should encourage people to not comment and participate because you personally don't enjoy something?

I know I'm being a bit over the top with the wording there but lets really think about it for a moment. Participation is engagement. And if we want Lemmy and by extension Lemmy.World to grow its what we need.

I upvoted you. Its a valid discussion to have. I just personally don't think its something we should be worried about in general.

No but I listen to a lot of audio books and I read/listen to a lot of fantasy and sometimes fantasy worlds get a bit complicated. So I've learned to not start a new one until I can really pay attention for a while. Otherwise the new magic / concepts may bounce off me.

Is dueling banjos played on loop in this bathroom?

I'm going full copy cat and basically doing Hipyotech's build. That light blue just looks so nice. I just realized I don't have stabs yet though, guess I need to decide and order those. Otherwise the caps are here, the switches on order and I'm just waiting to go.

My only regret is I'm actually more of a full size keyboard user but I just accepted that none of the cool custom stuff is made for me. The moment I go for the 75 and join their discord I see they are planning larger ones. Thats okay though. I already bought a cheap 10 key to sit beside it. Also I guess they are ALSO going to be doing their own 10 key.

So maybe its time to play the next time there is a good sale?

Its the most I've spent on a keyboard (Yes I know others consider it "budget") and I've finally got my switches and caps ready and I'm just excited to get going.

Its been having issues for days. I discovered as much while deleting all my old post and comments.

Its a mix. Finding new music is difficult and time consuming. But sometimes I actively try to find "new" stuff. But being in my late 40s that means basically anything less then 10 years old.

Back in "the olden days" the sieve of radio made me listen to a lot of stuff and I could pick what I liked. Post listening to the radio (because these days they are all either just playing the same stuff or gone).

But with a little effort I've found stuff.

I've recently found Bury Tomorrow and I'm liking a lot of their stuff.

On another genre side I've found Hugo Kant and really dig his stuff a lot as well.

I also found a throw back sort of trip hop band called Mirrors for Princes that I like though they don't have many songs.
