We have only two gas appliances in our home - the gas stovetop and the instant hot water. I definitely want to look at replacing these with induction and something electric for the hot water. We have solar so would prefer to use this if possible. Also considering getting batteries at some point.

Here in South Australia, we paid $4000 all up for our 6.6 kW solar system just a few years ago. System price was $7600 and we got $3600 back from the STC rebate thingy.

I saw one of these once here in Adelaide some 10+ years ago. Apparently the driver had just selected the wrong message.

We paid $4000 all up for our 6.6 kW system 3 years ago. It's been pretty solid and good for the budget despite the dwindled FiT. I wouldn't like to see our electricity bills if we weren't cancelling out most of the daytime usage.
Same here. It's rare that my Internet goes down, I don't play games while travelling, and Blizzard have kept their previous game servers online since they were released. So I don't really find much to complain about except on occasions where the servers go down for patching or whatever, but I'm used to that from playing every other online game.
I'm a self-checkout hater, but that's mostly because I'd rather dump my groceries on the conveyor and zone out while someone else gets paid to do the work. If I do self-checkout, I have to do everything myself and then it complains and I have to get staff to come fix it and it's all so stressful.
