Definitely easier said than done. I’m in the process of building an app for Lemmy and I’ve made a reddit app in the past and I can confirm the whole backend would need to be reworked along with most of the front end logic. I would love to have Apollo back, but since it doesn’t appear to be happening I’m building my own version. I don’t want to directly ripoff Apollo, but it does so many things so well that it’s beginning to feel more and more like a clone. If you’d like to be a part of it I created a community (c/lemmyapp) where you can find the TestFlight link and provide feedback in the form of bug reports and feature requests. It’s still in Alpha testing so there are a lot of bugs but if you’ve got some features that you’d like to see in a mobile app that aren’t available in others there’s a good chance I’ll add them in. For the stable release

Im so excited for it to be released to the public. It’s in a very buggy state at the moment so you’re not missing out on too much 😭

I don’t personally align with either political party but the fact that you didn’t see the irony in this before posting it is really something spectacular.

): I’m not seeing any crash reports on TestFlight yet, did it ask you to submit one? I hear it sometimes takes a long time for them to show up. Can you tell me the steps you took to reproduce this?

Yeah I’ve been spending about as much time on sh.itjust.works as I have on BeeHaw and I haven’t noticed anything worrying about the community on either platform. I’m open to being proven wrong of course but I just don’t yet understand the drama here. Also haven’t spent any time looking into it lol
