BG3 runs fairly well in act 1, but I expect poor performance in later sections.

Yeah I didn't even make it out of the tutorial. It felt very cheap for the amount of advertising this thing has gotten
I want to see this with the BG3 parasite
As of yesterday, Baldur's Gate 3. Really love shoving gobbos off of rooftops.
Before that, I think Against the Storm might be my pick. I'm usually not in to city builders past the 2-3 hour mark. Basically as soon as my city is functional I want to try again and make something pretty AND functional. Against the Storm basically has you do that beginning stretch over and over in a rogue-like format. It's fucking awesome.
Edit: now that I see someone mention Deep Rock I gotta make that my pick. Rock and stone!
There's nothing I'm super interested in this season besides JK, but I'm currently watching through Haikyu. Blue Lock got me interested in Sports anime, both are great.
Vampire Survivors is the most simple game I can think of. Only one joystick needed.
As far as out of the box usability, I'd go for Mint. Personally, I love Manjaro which is a bit more complex and PopOS which is another beginner-friendly option. You won't really know what you like until you try a few. You can install them on to a flash drive and boot to that in order to test drive.
Your closeness to windows is going to be pretty directly limited to your desktop, "start" menu, and the look/feel of your windows and taskbar.
It's still going to feel very much like Linux, but you can tweak almost anything to your liking.
Yeah it fucking rocks on kb+m
Controls on deck are definitely fucky, I need to tune my rear buttons next time I play.
This headline reads like a castle super beast podcast title
I've been having a blast with Hard space: Ship breaker, it plays great but it can eat the battery a bit
Hunt is fucking awesome
It's actually fucking awesome and super respectful of the original
