Yea i tried to stick to the “main” lemmy instance. Still dusting out this federation stuff. But they are SWARMED with applicants, and after i learned beehaw was not a Midwestern beekeeping subreddit, i was able to get a home base.

We are currently at a cross roads. The community is fairly small and chill. But if lemmy takes off, i wonder if it’s going to end up more reddit like
This is pretty quintessential Kojima. I enjoyed my time with it. In classic Kojima fashion it goes further off the rails the longer it goes. But thats ok if the train starts off the rails in the first place

There are some things i recognize like news and such. Reddit was so ubiquitous that if i had a problem with just about any game i could find a subreddit. Here i am not at all sure how making federations or threads work. And things are still a little sparse. I am connected to beehaw. If i connect to another group will i see completely new communities or recreations of the standard ones?
