Imagine being a fan of either Dolly Parton or musical theatre and being repulsed at the sight of a gay person. That's like my family who were grossed out that there were gay people in She-Ra— a spinoff of the famously heterosexual He-Man, by the famously conservative studio Filmation.

It would surprise not a bit to find that she went specifically to cause trouble, and not because she was a fan.

As for Filmation, now I have to read up on their history, you've got me curious.
