The only thing crazier than this idiot inventing a master race of republican-aligned tech bros whose destiny is to conquer Silicon Valley through police banquets is that an entire audience of people took it seriously. The article promised a crackpot's raving and Balaji sure delivered.

It's only crazy as long as everyone else treats it as such. When there are also monied interests on board with it, it becomes serious and dangerous.

It's not like it's a new idea to bribe the police to get them on your side, the elites have been doing this for decades: https://www.propublica.org/article/private-donors-supply-spy-gear-to-cops .

It's why the cops are never there when you need them, but they're always there to defend corporate property.
