I'm going to go with something perhaps a little weird. Udon noodles, soy sauce as well, some veggies. I probably have it 2-3 times a week. The salty flavor really makes me brain light up. And maybe even stranger, durian. Very weird fruit. You have to make yourself eat it until you can real find the extremely unique, sweet flavors.
+1 about the noodles, I can toss in some frozen veggies and spice it up choosing whatever sauce I'd like. Dinner is ready super fast! Added chilli garlic sauce last time, delicious.
have you ever had frozen durian? i've always wanted to try durian but i don't think i can get it fresh where i live. i assume it's not really the same but i wonder if it's worth a try
Frozen is what I usually have. For beginners I always recommend frozen durian first, it stays solid and has an almost ice cream like quality to it's texture.
I absolutely love Udon. Hard to find udon noodles here where I live… I can make them but it’s a lot of effort. If it wasn’t so much effort I’d probably have it 2-3 times a week as well.
