Pretty much why I was prepared to settle here.

My son is 50/50 Thai / English.

We live in Thailand and he is accepted as 100% Thai.

I admit that I'll never be accepted as Thai but that comes with benefits as well as drawbacks.

I hang out with my son and we play games together. We either play together or he plays on the PS5 and I play on the PC in the same room.

It's allowed me to teach him healthy habits such as taking a break when he's getting frustrated rather than getting angry at the game. We also share our triumphs and disasters which makes it much more social and since I'm a gamer I can curate the games he plays.

Personally I'll be gaming until I die, fortunately my wife doesn't see it as immature as I've never allowed it to interfere with being a functional adult.

That's how I'm feeling. Think both my son and I will enjoy it a lot.

For me it's my home server. 110TB at the moment, running UNRAID as a VM under proxmox. Also a load of software setup to share it's resources with my friends.

I'm not going to supply anyone on reddit anymore content. I'm not exactly a prolific poster but I do know my way around a few technical topics.

Technical content drew me to reddit and since a large chunk is migrating so will I.

Currently I am consuming some content from reddit but I'm not engaging with it. As a result I know my usage will fade away just like it did with Facebook.
