I fully support all the reasons for ditching Reddit altogether, but if I can’t use Apollo, I’ll only ever use it on desktop, and even then just to look stuff up via Google.

Searching for communities is essential. Like others have said, lift as much inspiration from Apollo as possible and you'll basically end up with everything users need.
In some ways, absolutely. I have distinct memories of finding the perfect solution to a problem I had, discovering a major headline, and more.

Love it! I lurked a lot on Reddit unless I had very specific questions--I think it's cool having an opportunity to grow a community.
