Glad to see you here in this community! Lovely photo and well spotted! Very well-camouflaged bird. Are these in Europe? Never seen one here in Germany.

I love wrens. The ones we have here in Germany sing so loudly. Definitely one of the largest voice-to-body ratios of any bird.

Welcome to Lemmy and welcome to this birding community! :-) Thank you for sharing this photo, really cool-looking bird! Where did you observe it? The storks we have here in Germany look quite different.

Really beautiful bird! I love the blue ring around its eye. Reminds me a little bit of the Collared Doves we have here in Europe, but the Mourning Dove looks prettier I think :-)

Great photo! Birds facing forward often look hilarious. Looks like he fluffed up his head feathers!

I have never been a hard-core gamer and didn't finish either D2 or even D3 — I did spend a lot of time with both of them, however, and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them.

I really like D4 so far, I have to say. Runs perfectly on my SteamDeck and it's a lot of fun to play! If you look past the fact that you need an active Internet connection and the fact that there are (so far) purely cosmetic micro transactions, I think it's a really fun and good game!

Fantastic shot! Where was this taken? (just a rough location)

One of the artificial lakes here (Bielefeld, Germany) has been drained, presumably to have it cleaned.

There’s tonnes of trash and even some shopping carts at the bottom of it. One of the local coots seems to like one of the carts and made its nest on top of it.

Anyway, I did not expect there to be any other kinds wildlife there at the moment - but it seems as if the Black-Headed Gulls love this very shallow lake with lots of dirt islands in it!

So I went there yesterday evening and tried my hand at some flight shots. I’m still pretty bad at it, but I got a few that are okay.
