Great catch! Thanks for sharing. Nice to know someone somewhere had a really good day when they came up with that.

It was wild! Be sure to take a digital camera. I took 200+ photos. Changing film would have been nerve-wracking on a doors-off flight.
That's a good reason to alphabetize by artist (chronological by release).
Something about this put a big goofy grin on my face. Thank you!
P.S. Adding this to my "Unconventional Covers" playlist.
Yep... narrowing in on the culprit (lygus bug aka western tarnished plant bug). Tracked down a local source of castile soap in case they start pissin' me off.
Yeah... sounds about right.
Thanks
I checked back in briefly today and it seems like reddit is currently tearing itself apart.
How so?
I'm also a recent transplant. I too find the (current) lack of activity in certain niche areas disappointing, but I'm hoping that's temporary. I hope discussions of some of those topics can survive the inevitable fragmentation among instances.
On the other hand, I've installed Jerboa on my phone, and it's working very well. Now I've just got to get busy participating in those niche communities--could be tricky, 'coz the ones I often liked best were the ones I knew the least about. I enjoyed learning from people who already knew the ropes.
The discovery of IRC (text-based). It was like BBS chat only with people from around the entire world.
How would one mute the word Reddit? I took a look at the options in settings but didn't find anything that appeared relevant to me. What did I miss?
Highlight of the weekend was some light yard work and spending way too much time watching Reddit go dark on Reddark. Hard to describe the sensation of watching so many subs go, one by one--sometimes in a bunch at the top of the hour as another timezone reached midnight. It was a mix of elation and dread.
Nice! One of my favourite games.
