Grand Seiko logo in the gothic font is straight up ugly, and wrong-looking.

Tudor = $3,000 ; Chinese homages = same shape, different guts, few cosmetic tweaks, & $200.

Not true on the Cronos GMT vs Rolex GMTMaster2 really. (But, you do get from from China @ $275 than at $125.)

100%. Exactly this. I learned that I do not like Tudor snowflake hands, over a few weeks w. a Pagani Chrono. Can’t be done in a store! Saved me serious $$$ & annoyance. Also helped pull the trigger on GMTMaster after rolling a Cronos.
