It’s all about who owns it and is sitting on the board.

Bunch of old money type people? They don’t care too much about a bad year, more important to weather the storms and keep the generational money intact.

Venture capitalists? Jack Welch this dogshit company and get us some short term gains!

That looks amazing. Thank you for sharing.

Do you know the brand? Sounds like my next winter project.

I want to make one with normal pickups - Out1 and add a piezo bridge with a three way switch for an Out2. Some of the sounds people are getting by blending the two are incredible.

Did you find any useful guides online or on YouTube for getting started? I have a decent set of tools, but this would be a new endeavor for me.

Well aware this would be a “me” guitar and not something that would have much of a value to anyone else. Some people seem to think they are building their own K-Line guitar.

Did you like building your own? I have a used PRS SE 24, which I got for a steal due to paint scuffs, but thought about building my own.

This is where guitars are right now.

Both Fender and Gibson are now owned by venture capitalists. Their quality of everything, from strings to picks to guitars, has plummeted across every brand they own in the last five years. It’s sad really.

You go on Reddit and people talk about the models and which one is great for this, or why they prefer it for that, but then you find some deeper dives into more recent spaces and people who know what they are talking about have moved away entirely from both brands.

If anyone is curious, you can buy a better guitar from Harley-Benton, Cort, or Jet than from Fender/Gibson and it will be 1/2 to 1/4 the cost.

“Divorced dad energy” is one of those meme things that everyone likes to make fun of when a dude does anything, but no one likes to address that same poison when divorced moms act like fools.

My mother would drag me to various groups that would absolutely shit on “men” constantly, and I got to hear that constantly. It was weird growing up in that environment, but luckily for me it was before the redpill trash all over the internet. Managed to find some good friends in high school

Water is now flowing up. Truly chaotic times.

Could really just remove the genders from what this person said and make it applicable to everyone. Young men should be doing the same thing.

Toxic femininity and masculinity both push the narrative of how young men need to constantly pursue women, and everything they do should be in pursuit of chasing pussy. How men should always be available to women when the time comes.

Grow for yourself.

It’s time to just replace the old questionnaires with Skyrim type character creator slide rules.

“Please define yourself. If you take more than an hour you fail no matter what.”

Taxi drivers and Uber was a legitimate issue. Taxis had long been required to buy medallions that were hundreds of thousands of dollars to operate. Uber does the exact same thing and is not required to do the same? Total bullshit.

“Rideshare”. It’s just taxi service by another name. Same rules for everyone, but then suddenly Uber and Lyft would collapse because Taxi services have always been the better option.
