Why is this even in the privacy community? It says "public" right in the title, what did you expect? Public means public.

this was basically me for a while, had a team that was all deoxys forms named after 4 of the spice girls + two Arceus named after the last spice girl and Barack Obama

It isn't. Found a major security vulnerability in it while working as an intern years ago. Fortunately it's been fixed since. I had very little SQL knowledge at the time. It was a glaringly obvious problem. Haven't trusted it since.

Cop-out answer, but I hope all of them will eventually succeed here. I strongly believe open source projects are the future.

Lemmy has an incredibly solid base to build from, and with the directions many other platforms are headed, it's likely to continue growing.

For me personally, I'd love to see more out-there communities form, like r/2panelgarfield. I love the experience of discovering an awesome community for something you never knew existed.
