What settings are you using on steam deck? Any mods?
Joker
Pathfinder 2e and Scum and Villainy.
5e just never really stuck for me. I like all the character options in Pathfinder and how easy it is to build something awesome.
Scum and Villainy is just a ton of fun. It’s so easy to learn, the rules are simple, and it always leads to good times. There are so many opportunities for creativity and for things to go off the rails in the best way. The games I have played have basically been dumb criminals doing dumb things and sort of succeeding anyway with unexpected results.
Check out pathfinder.social.
Oh man. Me too. The player market and pvp were the best. I loved how there were battles to actually control territory. There were places you just couldn’t go unless you were covert. That game should have gotten so much more love back then.
Currently playing Pathfinder 2e. I like the system and the lore. Played Scum and Villainy a while back and loved it. My understanding is it’s largely the same as Blades in the Dark. There’s so much freedom to create some really memorable experiences. Our GM for Pathfinder also mentioned Dungeon Crawl Classics. That looks like it could be interesting.
It’s a bug. There’s a GitHub issue for it, although I don’t have a link. It’s floating around on here if you look or you could go through the issue tracker.
Spam and bots like other people have said. Then there are the instances that get blocked because of the content and people there. Nazis, racists, trolls, etc. They were coming in from all over during the twitter migration. There was a blocklist on GitHub that was being updated pretty frequently.
Nice. I have that one on my wishlist. I’m not ready to start a new game so it’s on the back burner until the Steam sale.
Eh… To each their own. Reddit isn’t going away. Many of us may not go back, but there are people who will stay. As long as there’s a thriving community over here it’s all good.
I loved it. I didn’t follow it much prior to release and wrote it off after the launch fiasco. I gave it a try maybe a year later after a big patch. I didn’t really have any expectations going in.
It’s one of my favorite games ever. The gameplay is good, I enjoyed the story, and I loved the characters. There are a few you get close to and I actually cared about them. That part reminded me a little bit of Mass Effect. I was genuinely disappointed when it was over and it was time to say goodbye.
It’s not a technical masterpiece, but there’s something special there. Again, I’ll make a comparison to Mass Effect. The first game had some warts and parts of the world felt empty, but it was also such an interesting place with memorable characters. That series didn’t really come into its own until the second one.
I’m thrilled that we are getting more Cyberpunk. I expect it will just keep getting better the way the Witcher series did.
Looks interesting even if a little bit of a strange adaptation. Gameplay looks solid and the graphics are nice.
Which packages do you add to extraLibraries? How do you find the dependencies? I’m struggling with this at the moment.
