Continue to look at it online and you’ll find that you’ll get your fill and your desire will wane. Don’t buy if in doubt.

I have searched and search, but I cannot find a reference on the web that describes the actual method used for the observatory-based contents that were used to test watch accuracy. Can anyone direct me? I want a detailed description about the method, not just the history. Thank you!

Anyone know of a brand/model that has this feature? If you’re not familiar, you can create a compass with your watch by aligning the hour hand with direction of sun. Halfway between the hour hand and 12 is the direction South ((his applies when you are in northern hemisphere). When you have a rotating bezel with N,E,S,W demarkations, you can then easily create a compass. I want Arabic numerals on the watch dial. Please advise.

First identify (for yourself) what is unique about each watch. Write it down. Then you will be prepared to make a decision. Through this exercise, you may find that you like many of them more than you thought, and ones that look similar may take on a new uniqueness based on nuanced details.

Thank you for the Christopher Ward recommendation. I never looked at them before, and I really like what I see. The C65 Dune is fitting the bill for me in many ways. Check it out. It has some subtle features that make it special for such a reasonable price. Like the date window characteristics, for example. Thanks!

Fabulous. This may be my favorite watch. There’s more than meets the eye on this. I have a lot to say. This watch is excellent. Check out some YouTube reviews to see the details.

Here’s my current collection. I like low-profile watches that don’t garner attention from the mainstream nor symbols of economic class (either real or apparent - e.g., real of fake Rolex). And the complications or style should be unique but also functional for me (for example, I don’t want a diving watch because I have absolutely no need for rotating bezel, but a mechanical watch with an alarm is very cool). Any thoughts on what I should pursue next? Thanks!
