Here's a list of quality of life and gameplay suggestions that I've heard or have come up with from just playing the game if anyone has any others feel free to add. Or if you want to expand on the topic go for it!

List in no specific order:

  • The damage and health scaling when playing in a party needs to be adjusted. Maybe it should be proximity based

  • Gem bag

  • Let us have the option to refund the entire paragon board just like refunding my skills

  • CC feels too aggressive. I know there's unstoppable and reductions but golly sometimes it doesn't even matter

  • Let us access aspects stored in our stash from the Occultist

  • Let us teleport to a friend without having to portal to a main town

  • Enemy density feels lacking in many areas

  • Stop making us back track in dungeons

  • Fix issue that causes mount to get stuck when mounting and holding direction until input is stopped and animation finishes

  • Let us sort the inventory by rarity, then type or just give us different sorting options in general

I'm sure there's more stuff I'm forgetting and I doubt anyone from the Dev team is even on here but still nice to discuss or add to ideas

I understand what you're saying but I think there are a few points I can gather as to what is truly being said and why it resonates with so many.

One that you brought up about getting his door kicked in and dragged out in handcuffs as a hypothetical is that people shouldn't have their doors kicked in and dragged out in handcuffs unless it's actually necessary which in many cases it is not but occurs anyway and way too often.

Another one is that you shouldn't have to sit in jail for an unnecessary length of time waiting to get out. The implication being that you've been arrested are waiting to see a judge which should be a maximum of 48 hours and any longer is unconstitutional.

I guess the overall point is that the former president is saying he's not being treated fairly but in fact he is actually being treated very fairly which is how everyone should be treated. The fairness should not extend only to a former president but also to every citizen in the U.S. because they have rights.

However, because the reality is that so many rights are violated on a daily and consistent basis for the average low income person and also for people of color (which both actually might be approaching the majority at this point) it makes Trump's treatment unfair by comparison.

And to have someone who formerly held one of the most powerful positions in the world state his treatment as unfair shows just how far removed from the average citizen he is and in many ways ignores the hardships of the very people he was supposed to lead and support.

By just simply complaining he told so much.

This is just how I see it though. I could be way off but that's what I got.

I live in a hilly area and got an e-bike exactly for some of these monsters. I love it. Makes me feel like a kid again. I'm not out of shape by any means but I'm 60 lbs heavier then I was and it's just not feasible unless I train for that purpose which I'm not trying to do. I just want to enjoy my bike ride at a leisurely pace.

Now my biggest issue is where I live isn't exactly bicycle friendly. Sucks when you can't really move to the side for cars to pass and when the sidewalks are all skinny and uneven.

Additionally all the cars are just noisy as shit. I can't even enjoy the ride unless I take side roads which is impossible to always do to get where I want to go.

Lastly, a lot parks around here only allow bicycles on the road and not on paved paths.

Pisses me off. Like where am I supposed to go? I just want to ride my bike around from destination to destination and enjoy nature and seeing people out and about.

So true. I actually like the reverse isekai. I honestly thought from when I first put it on it was going to go the route of him being reborn into the same world. And I thought it was going to be the Calamity killer or whatever his name is. Not who the MC ended up being. So I enjoy that things took a different turn.

I see. I'm only on episode 8 because I'm a filthy dub watcher, but I kind of see what you're talking about. It picked up for me after episode 4. I kind of like that it hasn't been completely predictable, but at the same time it does seem like it needs a little more polish and cohesion to the plot.

Has anyone checked this one out? Any thoughts?

I'm a few episodes in and I like the premise but I'm not sure on the execution yet. Seems like it could almost be awesome but falls a bit short.

I can't quite put my finger on why that is though.

Guess I am getting old. Hope Lemmy here can usher in a new wave of similar content. I'll have to wait and see.

I find it a bit disheartening that a lot of comments on Reddit (I know I'm mostly staying away) are labeling us, the people who take issue with not only the API pricing but the entire direction the site is going, snowflakes and whiny babies.

A lot of "I don't cares" and "I just want to use the site not see this useless protest" etc. I remember a time when reddit could come together and actually get results (for better and for worse).

Even the way people comment is different. Seems like a lot more low effort, mouth breather posts, or suspiciously bad faith arguments that I see in response to the increasingly rare thoughtful/informative dialogue in the form of posts or comments.

I'm not saying the site was ever an iconic standard to the peak intellectual, but there seemed to be more people hungry for that type of content.

Maybe I'm just looking back at everything through rose tinted glasses, but I miss the days of ending up going down a new rabbithole sparked by a random comment chain.

I wonder if it's just me and I'm just turning into that old bitter dude longing for the "good ole days."

I'm not ready for this responsibility.

I know I'm in the minority, but I think this game really missed out on not including third person toggle. I know they said it was an artistic choice, but to me RPGs and third person (at least as a toggle) go hand in hand.

The fact that I had so many options to customize my character and wear different stuff only for it to be never be seen except in the menu and some cutscenes was a bit of a let down.
