I prefer that numerical layout for Oris myself. The Oris face that most people show around here feels waaay too busy with numbers all the way around the dial, packed right next to the dates all around the dial, boxes, etc. Makes me claustrophobic. The raised metal numerals I vastly prefer over the current flatter style too.
Here's my Oris... a day pointer which is cool.
I had a co-worker that had an inner ring with day of the week.
I Just wish it kept a bit better time, so in that regard I'm quite jealous of yours. :) For day-to-day wear got myself a COSG Mido so that I wouldn't have that issue.
