Two easy ones come to mind:
- you can make a blog with an open source SSG like Hugo and put it up on Codeberg or something similar
- play around with Inkscape

You could learn Blender or play Minetest.
Inkscape and GIMP are both quality foss tools for digital creation. I use Inkscape primarily for laser cutting, but there are many good uses for vector designs as well
