Truly terrible. It sounds like the boat was given a lot of opportunities to get help. 750 aboard 100 or so rescued. All the rescued were male. Women and children in the hold.

Can you imagine being the last person to board and being like "Yeah... This seems safe."
With the suspicion of trafficking mentioned in the article, they might not have had a choice in the matter. Sad all around.
