Escort missions and weapons breaking without a reasonably easy way to get/make more (glaring at you, Dead Island...)

I do not like breaking weapons at all. On witcher 3 it seems to be so unnecessary mechanic. It so tedious to travel somewhere only to remember there, that you forgot to repair your gear.
