@booteille @peertube Even the widest of possible searches still only turns up 25 results maximum (with no way to sort them that I can find).

Screenshot as example.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

@booteille @peertube Hello! I've only tried to use it a couple of times but the tool at https://joinpeertube.org/instances seems to give a very limited number of results. I've been assuming it's broken since clearly there are a lot more instances out there than listed, but I might just be misunderstanding how it's supposed to work.

@jeena Think videos about the process of developing video games, basically. Following a project from beginning to (hopefully) release.

@cariad Yeah tbh my fibre crafts are a bit out of place there already (despite definitely counting as making, in my mind!) so I reckon they'd accept me. But it feels precarious putting both on the same server, so just wanted to see what else is out there.

Looking for a PeerTube instance for game devlogs.

I have a crafts channel on makertube.net already but would prefer to spread myself around in case one server goes down. Also tbh I'm not even sure devlogs would count as "making" anyway.

Tried the instance finder on the PT homepage but it's pretty useless so if anyone knows where is stable and welcomes this kind of content I'd appreciate it! Thanks.

@loregret @gamedev Appreciate the homework, thank you :D

@scanlime @gamedev That's definitely both the consensus in general, and my research task for the rest of the weekend. Thanks!

@bluestarultor @gamedev Fundamentals is absolutely what I'm missing here so thank you very much. Baby steps, and all that!

@Foxysen @gamedev That is definitely a term I've heard thrown around before and never had cause to investigate what it actually is. Sounds like now's the time, thank you! 😅

Hoping for some advice on AI pathfinding terminology

Basically I have a town made of individual hex shaped tiles with buildings on them. Each tile will have footpaths too, and my little people will hopefully wander around the paths, travelling to other tiles via their path connections.

I'm fine with learning this stuff but just not sure exactly what terms to search for to get started!

Should I be looking up specific #Godot features for finding routes? Algorithms? Help!
