I think it tracks with Aronofsky’s long line of characters with addictive personalities who can’t stop themselves from self-destructing.

I imagine most people in this community have seen this already, but in case it’s escaped your attention:

A crowdfunding campaign has started for season 14! It’s set to wrap up right around Turkey Day, that most sacred of MST3K holidays. Two films have been announced for the season, Battle Beyond the Stars and Deathsport. Currently the SAG-AFTRA strike has prevented the cast from promoting it, but we can circulate the URL until that’s settled!

Years ago, an old friend of mine came up to me after a gig and told me “you sound like Dave Grohl when you scream”. I’ve never been particularly convinced of that, but I found it interesting. To my own ears, I think Simone Felice, such as on Running Through My Head.
