@kristoff@infosec.pub I will be giving a workshop hacking radio-signals at #hackover 2023 in #hannover
The exact timeslot is not yet known, but it will be during the weekend of 14 to 16 July.
See the thread on infosec.pub (lemmy instance) for more info and information how to join.
This workshop is on the border between #infosec and #hamradio
#rfhacking

@lemmyreader @ttmrichter "... a set of rules called the ActivityPub standard, which is a little like HTML had sex with a calendar invite"
🤣

Very interesting article. .. especially the idea that human high-level behaviour goes into circles: "We Babelize and de-Babelize"
Wise words! 👍

@poVoq
@ray Can you be a bit more specific? Can you provide some specific bug-track tickets of issues you encountered?

Just making generic remarks is not very helpful if people want to make a choice between the different options.

@TechGuru_007 I run dendrite at home (including a matrix-signal bridge) and synapse for an organisation. Both work good. It just depends on what you want to do. If you just have a couple of users (your family or just some friends), dendrite works pretty good. It may be "beta" but I have never had any issues. If you have hunderds of users or need features like LDAP userauthentication, synapse if the way to go.
What do you want to use your matrix-server for?
