i agree honestly. i am fucking tired of the internet going so corporate, the users need to take control back.

yeah there has to be some sort of profit motive if they are federating with the activitypub protocol. maybe they notice how big its getting and see the potential to wanna scrape data off of instances. whatever the motive is, i dont trust them.

I hate how profit hungry corps will do anything in their power to attack the open source movement. Because it's completely out of their control.
The app looks amazing but you need to forgoe that app icon. Could have a cleaner looking one that matches the aesthetic of the app. So far I like it though

they would have to prove that they are in good faith to be able to gain our trust in federating with them. but with their past bullshit, its hard to do so.
