Godot is really fun to use and to develop in. They basically gamified documentation writing: they show you tooltips for your custom elements just like the classes provided by the engine with their excellent documentation. The engine has hot code reloading too. I have a puzzle game project that I'm working on now.

Keep in mind that it redirects to circumstances.run if you visit the account page, I don't know why it still does that when the account is suspended, it was supposed to show you a page saying it redirects. Maybe it's a bug on mastodon. If I search for davidgerard on hachyderm it says he's suspended.

What is up with AI papers using fancy symbols to notate abstract concepts when there isn't a single other instance of the concept to be referred to

They offer a bunch of tables with numbers in a metric that isn't explained, showing that they are exactly the same for "random" and "agent" policy, in other words, inputs don't actually matter! And they say they want to use these metrics for training future versions. Good luck.

For the sample size they are using 60% seems like a statistically significant rate, and they only tested at most 3 seconds after real gameplay footage.

It's running at frames per second, not seconds per frame. so it's not too energy intensive compared with the generative versions.

The Age of Adz by Sufjan Stevens, sorta related to sneerclub as it is about sci-fi eschatology, but has a lot of personal elements. Found this because it is his first album that is almost entirely electronic.
