Not necessarily. Again, having content and users separated and the instances with different concerns seems like a good way to simplify operations for users and server admins/mods. And from the instance POV is just what kind of features do you enable.

Content generation only? Users creation only? Both?

It's also easier to make a service out of it.

Not a fitness expert by any means, just an enjoyer. But from what you are telling here you need to improve your explosiveness/power. That will make you jumpstart faster to your highest speed. Maintaining it is another issue, but could be done by many means.

To improve your power, I would go with what another user suggested. Do some kettlebell exercises. You can also do some thrusters with dumbbells, or power cleans.

To maintain your speed, I don't know. I'm not an expert, least in running. But I noticed that the more I lift (in terms of raw weight) the easier is for me to run.

Of course, this is disregarding technique, which is key. You can have the best legs in the world, that without proper technique you'll get so far. Conversely, if you have the proper technique you don't need to improve your fitness THAT much.

I used to do one from Freelitics that was really for a biginner/mid level.

For Time/5 rounds

20 Air Squats 10 Push-ups 20 Sit-ups 20 Superman/arches 40 Jumping Jacks

It was great because I could do it in 30 minutes, almost no warm-up, it activates the whole core, and can be easily modified to different levels. You can very quickly change the difficulty level of each exercise individually or increase reps. You can also try to improve your time. Finally, you can add weight with cheap dumbbells to every exercise.

I would usually change the supermans/arches for hip raises to engage glutes an hamstrings.

I would do it twice or thrice a week as a complement to some Natural Movements warm out, to get a full 1hr exercise. It was really easy to track progress too.

Basically this. I have just realized that as a guy whos teens where in the 00's, my musical ear has been groomed by awesome videogames with great soundtracks, like Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Gran Turismo, later Need For Speed and some FIFA. But what's the equivalent in today's time?

I've bought a FIFA and a NFS recently, but the soundtracks are... OK-ish, I guess? I enjoyed the some Rocket League's season, though.

I was thinking about this, actually. Wouldn't it be better to have users-only instances and content-only instances? That way you can have an instance with a policy towards certain subjects (e.g.: bigotry, racism, sex openness), but you chose the content you want. Just like if it were a cable or streaming service. You choose the content you want.

BTW, is there a place to discuss this? How to improve Lemmy and next steps? Also as a way to know how to contribute.

I'd still be hungry. Guess I'll buy two (?)

If true, that actually speaks volumes. Like what kind of guy removes a dead man, at some point revered, from the list of co-founders. What do you lose by not doing it? What did you win by doing it? I mean, the odds are you lost more than anything. Besides, he should have been your partner. Even if you did for the cash, what about all the moments you had with him? Was Aaron such a piece that you'd rather have him erased?

I seriously can't get it.

It feels a little bit like the old reddit, right? Very few in many communities. You see a lot of sttuff, you want to comment. It's a weird feeling.

I'm still incredibly surprised that by taking closing communities you get your servers down. Usually it should be the other way around, but god dammit they screwed that infra somehow, somewhere.
