hmm no real details on why it failed to boot several times, and then on video it simply worked, yeah not the best video in the world :-)
It is an interesting appliance style server that's for sure, if this becomes popular I can imagine a large increase in the unRAID user community, which can only be a good thing.
The answer, barely!
Lol that depends on what you mean by THE binhex 😁 I'm the guy who creates and maintains a collection of docker images, targeted at unRAID primarily.
This guy obviously does not get how ports work with Docker, he didn't change the container side port after changing the port used by minecraft, or better yet, leave the server.properties file alone and simply change the host side.
One word, good!
Jackett 😁 no seriously, Jackett
A nice solid cheap build, I have two M1015's in my build actually and they have been going strong for a number of years, I love them!. I am not so sure on the choice of 10 x 3TB drives TBH, not what I would of done, I wonder what he paid for them.
This is a great video with some really nice real world scenarios when using zfs with unRAID.
I have now switched over to voyager for Android, like the side swipe actions
I think the answer is as Ed says, horses for courses, it all depends on what you want to get out of a nas and the amount of time and effort you are willing to spend.
It's not bad for privacy, is bad for TOR
