The issue is more saying the words they get bottled up in my throat.

I kind of want to come out because if I don't I will find it hard to find a boyfriend especially in my current situation there are like 0 queer people around

I just want to add that she doesn't apply the same standard for heterosexual people and this has been shown.

Hello, The 4 people in my family who I was considering telling my truth have previously shown acceptance of LGBTQ+ people. They are my mother, father, grandpa (mother's side, probably the most vocal ally I know), grandma (father's side). I recently came out to my mother. She stated that I was too young to be gay, too young to know, and that she wasn't going to believe me until I was over the age of 18. I am in the middle of my teens, and I do not believe I am too young. I now find myself unable to come out to anyone else. It took so much effort to get the words out of my mouth and now I don't know how to tell anyone else. I'm sure, I'm praying, that if I tell her dad, or my dad, or his mum, they'll accept me. They'll make it all right. I don't know what to do. How can I tell someone.

Ah! Thanks for pointing that out I'll be more cautious in that regard

I'm so sorry for what happened, and I've deleted both posts (at least on Beehaw for the other one). I didn't think of it the way you and Fracture showed it to me and I'm thankful that you shared your insight.

i didn't see it like that. I'm gonna delete that post, and I'm so sorry for that. Thank you. I understand that deleting it won't right my wrong, but I'm sincerely sorry.

Edit for a little note: I went to sleep after posting this, and I haven't checked Beehaw since. That's why I left it up for so long. Thank you though. Also, the post was a technical perspective on how the portals work in the game, not anything to do with it's content or the like. I haven't paid for the game either. So, I've deleted both posts and wanted to thank you for sharing this perspective.

ah, thank you! I hate capitalizing letters in titles it's annoying to figure out but it looks so much better.

Reddit did try this, they use downvotes as a way to prevent showing poorly written or short content, but they didn't properly explain it and so I feel that it probably wouldn't be able to be explained.

This is my work; I am also looking for constructive criticism.

I know this was a bit ago, but this paragraph doesn't read well. There's no mention of EA Store before this, and it should probably note "The state of EA Store is unclear" or something. I swear I'm trying to help incase someone else needs this guide.

Are you on Linux? Steam runs natively, Epic doesn’t, but the open source Hero Launcher does a pretty good job at it (but it’s a third-party tool and may get you banned). The Sims doesn’t run natively, only Steam does. Read the ProtonDB page for Steam. Some people have been reporting errors since Origin was closed and EA Store was implemented for good.

My suggestion: "Are you on Linux? EA Store may work, Steam runs natively, Epic doesn’t, but the open source Hero Launcher does a pretty good job at it (but it’s a third-party tool and may get you banned). The Sims doesn’t run natively, only Steam does. Read the ProtonDB (make sure to link this if you copy) page for Steam. Some people have been reporting errors since Origin was closed and EA Store was implemented for good."

I personally would rank them like this:

  1. The Sims 3 (with mods ofc); Most content IMO and very intuitive, especially coming from the Sims 4. Also, Open World.
  2. The Sims 2; playing on Mac I don't have the last 2 packs and that's annoying. idk it just doesnt feel as alive as 3.
  3. The Sims 4; this only gets 3rd place bc of The Sims 1.
  4. The Sims / The Sims 1 / whatever; no nostalgia for me, doesn't hold up.

Hello! I was curious how you guys like to share your work, particularly long-form works. I mean, excluding publishing because that sounds like a lot of effort I cannot be bothered to put in. I've been wondering what other people like to do, I don't really share my work that often.
