Yeah, I like the look of that much more than the previous version!

Just takes a lot of boredom and lots of muscle memory. Not hard, per se, but unrewarding until you've put more time into than you'd think. A lot of skills within a week or so, you should have some sort of improvement to show for it. Not so much with contact juggling.

But once you've gotten ok at it, it kinda looks like magic.

You can kinda make it bend a bit to your whim. While it is technically immutable if you don't mess with it, it does have everything necessary for using pacman. It just all reverts next time steamos updates. Anything you install directly through the discover portal is permanent, but it does technically have access to anything in the pacman repos as well.

I unlocked mine long enough to download neofetch and take the screenshot for this. It'll revert back soon, but I only needed it temporarily for imaginary internet points. :)

I got into contact juggling a decade or two ago. It is basically a form of juggling in which a clear or solid-colored ball stays in contact with your body to interesting effect. Think the Goblin King from the movie "Labyrinth".

It is rare enough that you don't meet many people that have seen it, and with enough of a learning curve that not many people that start ever really get anywhere with it.

Oh, I'm sure. I have picked up other non-Latin scripts before (Hebrew was interesting), I was just wondering if it is something that other folk with aphantasia find difficult.

This one just occurred to me, but I have always had iffy handwriting and recently have been trying to learn Russian which is reliant on fairly tricky cursive.

I have found the whole experience of learning a new style of cursive to be frustratingly difficult and was wondering if not having a good visual memory might lend itself to a slightly harder time of it.

I have kinda always known that I don't really work the same way as some others do, but the more recent discussions on just how well some people can visualize things led to me reevaluating myself.

I think a pretty big tipper for me was in how different my dreams are in comparison to my waking ability to visualize. Total night and day difference. When asleep (or just after waking) I have vivid and lucid dreams. While awake I can't conjure a stick figure or a simple apple.

Anyone here on Steamdeck?

Gotcha. For those that are happy with the upgrade process and stability of what they are on though, is there anything that makes it more enticing?

I may end up giving it a go just to round out my experience with the various flavors and get some real experience with RPM.

I have a Changeling: The Dreaming game that I am running (White Wolf V20 game). On top of that, I have an on again off again Exalted game that has been going for just shy of 20 years now.

The Cheat is grounded!

What do you use it for?

I will honestly have to look into it more. It seemed interesting, but I have not done a deep dive into how it works.
