Hi all,
I recently found this watch in a box upstairs while cleaning, it belonged to my grandfather and is the only thing i have of him. The watch will not be sold because of sentimental value.
I asked a juweler to replace the battery and they did, but it didn't work. No display. They didn't know anything about it and were not very helpful. Does anyone here know if this watch is worth anything and if it is worth looking on the internet for a new internal clock, or can this be repaired? It's currently display only, but would be fun to wear on occasion. What would be the best next steps?
thanks in advance! Also, here's a picture of the back: https://i.imgur.com/0EUaTeJ.jpg
Oh, the box does not go with the watch.
Best next step is to search the internet. Not an expert but seems like a very inexpensive watch.
