Night people should be able to get medical exemption from mornings. It’s not my fault that going to sleep early is basically impossible.

The fact that I accidentally posted this in yesterday's thread is merely supporting evidence.

The ants decided to invade my bathroom today.

I've faught these guys before and I have a feeling this will not be a short war...

Anybody have any suggestions on the best approach? They're protein ants, I think and smell like coconut when you squash them.

I had normal house ants and I used these and they worked really well. I haven't got any pets so I didn't have to worry about pets potentially chewing on them, so I don't know if that's a risk or not. But I haven't had any ants return so they must've taken the poison back to the nest and killed off the whole thing, as the product claims. YMMV but it's worth a try and they're not very expensive.

Edit: changed the link because it was wrong.

Apparently the bot slept in.

Server got updated around that time so maybe that’s related.

Thats a boring and logical answer

[–] cccc@aussie.zone 3 points 1 year ago

I mean, the bot was distracted fighting the good fight against the Metabots and their threads.

That makes two of us.

Used one of those rental scooters for the first time this evening. Have used it for the ebikes before but never a scooter. (Tried a scooter once before back during the Lime days, but it wasn't working so I gave up and walked.)

Gods they are incredibly unstable. I'm honestly shocked they're allowed, and I'm now far more concerned about those people who ride on one they've cracked the regulator on. And the price is still obscene compared to the CityCycle they were meant to be a "replacement" for. Easily 20x the price.

But I will say, they're still pretty fun. I enjoyed the ride in.

They are pretty terrible. It's a bad business model so it's predictable that the companies would let it all fall into disrepair.
