Business people make horrible public servants because they always look for the personal profit before the public good.

That is true for most politicians, regardless of whether or not they are also a businessperson.

It's the responsibility of we the people to find and elect those who are not like that.

Unfortunately, most people don't even believe in that responsibility, let alone carry it out.

Anyone who thinks a billionaire's interests are aligned to the common people's interests is truly lacking in their faculties. Unfortunately there's a lot of these people.
