My first pride experience involved wearing a Kuffiyeh and shouting at my local military contractorβs HR department and the one visibly LGBTQ person as they strolled down the street appalled that people didnβt want them there.

The fact that anyone, let alone LGBTQ+ people, can go to the streets holding a "Lockheed Martin" sign and not get shamed into dropping it, shows we're failing as a society
