Welp, I just deleted my 12 year old, 240k+ karma Reddit account (kbin.social)

I was sort of holding on to hope, that something would change. Unfortunately, nothing did and so, here I am.

I'm really liking kbin so far, so I'm looking forward to spending more time with you all over here. ❤️

Trying to delete mine... keeps telling me "something went wrong" They trying to stem the bleeding?

Are you just outright deleting it or are you using something like PowerDeleteSuite? If it's the latter, I think that needed the API to work, so that might be the problem

PDS is a user script and it works fine so long as you use an edited version that adds a 5 second cooldown. Rate limiting is in effect so that is necessary to avoid that. The fork I'm using only has the timeout on editing...which is all I need it for. Currently working great

The api access has already been shut off. If you're using an external tool to delete/overwrite comments like PowerDeleteSuit, it won't work anymore.
