When i press a parent comment it hides all child comment but then parent comment also becomes hidden. Please change this behavior. Comments shouldn't hide for a single press . When you long press the parent comment it should only hide all its child comments. Parent comment should still be visible.

I 100% agree with you, we've implemented this as an option and it'll be in the next release.

IMO a middle ground would be good for the "complete collapse" option. Now, that shows no reference at all, while "keep comment visible" makes still for a lot of scrolling. "A bit of text i small font" would be good.Do you think it would be unwelcome to open yet another request for this? ... I have just closed mine after i have seen that it was already an option ... ah well.

I think changing the current "complete collapse" mode to show a preview of the first line of text would be a good change. I don't see much of a drawback so I don't think we'd even need to implement a seperate option. Feel free to open an issue.

Someone also suggested here, to make a new option how much is actually being displayed ... but yeah that would make for a more complex change.
