I completed the CS50x course and it was very good!, although I believe its too difficult for 100% beginners. I do recommend people to check it out though!

Oh sorry about the misunderstanding. That does sound very interesting actually, I recon there are quite a few people who would find that fun and would tag along. You could use it to build some hype for the duo debut stream (which might I add is a good idea, debuting together!). You could also get some cheap models if you find it too hard or if it does not turn out as amazing as you had hoped. Overall, I think that's a good idea and you should go along with it. Do drop a link to your channel when that happens (I am pretty sure that does not break any rules, do correct me if I am wrong) and I'll check it out!
I am not really familiar with the process of making a model so take this with a grain of salt.
TLDR; if you think you will enjoy streaming more with a paid model and feel confident in your ability to entertain others then you should do that, otherwise it might be better to make your own.
Is that something someone would watch?
I believe that you're thinking too much about the model. While it does play a big role, a bigger part of getting viewers is to be entertaining. A model can attract viewers but it does not guarantee that they will stay, and seeing as models can get quite expensive I would advise against paying for one since if you're not entertaining to the viewers then soon there will be no one to actually see the model.
HOWEVER, if you do not really care about numbers or viewers and are just doing this for fun and you believe you will enjoy yourself more with a paid model (and can afford it) then go for it! If you think you'll have more fun creating your own model then do that. IMO the best approach to streaming is to just enjoy yourself since if you yourself are not having fun then the viewers likely won't either. Not to mention only focusing on numbers can be quite stressful and de-motivating so I really believe your top priority should be to just have fun.
Let me re-iterate that I am just a single viewer out of thousands in a stream so I would probably go ask more people about what they think (i.e in Discord servers or other forums) before making my decision.
I’ll probably just end up commenting out whatever is causing the error lmao
This caught me off-guard! I am so hyped for it, I loved the first trilogy so much...
Proton updates can sometimes unintentionally break or introduce bugs and glitches for certain games in which case you can force the use of an older version of proton where the game works best.
Most of the time though the latest version works fine. GE refers to a custom version of proton with community patches applied to faster than official proton releases.
I have used my Steam Deck for roughly two weeks now so I might be wrong but personally the latest Proton version running games through Steam works perfectly fine.
