YES & YES.

So in ordinary moronland, just back from voting on a metre-long ballot comprising 6 Fascists (mercifully unpopular), 3 NazBols (could fool some), 3 Tankies (quite popular) & 11 assorted others.

Now slinging Jagermeïster & have already mistaken some supposed local hotshot from the arts for a locum parish priest. He's ever so slightly regretting having asked why I thought he looked familiar.

Gonna regale us with tales from the front?

STOP MAKING ME LIKE YOU SO MUCH ALREADY!!

Which symphony?

Besides which, D-Day commemorations would have been planned much further back than that, including the attendance of the British PM. That would have been in the diary of No.10 long before Sunak himself took office, with just very fine details to tweak nearer the day.

Wildly impressed at the homegrown cures.

Anyhow, assume this week's Witching Hour has struck, as my notifications tell me I missed a reply before it was deleted.

Come rail at us if you need to. Am a reasonably ordinary moron if that helps!!

Having just watched the 1950s musical "South Pacific" set in the same arena, but very cheerful, and today being the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, seeing this image now is an interesting juxtaposition.

Come to think of it, used the phrase from the title to inquire after a man's wellbeing just two days ago. He blamed it on his colleagues (who were at the bar with him, and who seemed to understand).

Seemed to be, but I wasn't present at any of the result returns of elections he participated in.

His angry little face every time in Newsnight's compilation of election result announcements, followed by him having a temper tantrum at a BBC interviewer asking about all his losses. Gold.

He's likely to do worse now than in 2015 (his best result to date) when he was agitating for Brexit, notwithstanding dark funding & assistance from Twitter's new owner, as many of those who thought they wanted to leave the EU have realised it was a mistake.

Something about this feels like the makings of a short story, or collection of them even. Could be a way to divert yourself from rampaging round social media?

If mostly due to hormonal fluctuations, maybe your doctor can tweak them a little to give you a smoother ride?

Mhmm. Still though!

Why did I have to read this as am lying in bed feeling peckish.

Disappointed these won't be single 3ft sausage rolls though!

It would be very rare not to do so.

Most poll results give the margins of error of the method(s) used. No idea if this one did or not, but 2% and 3% don't seem dramatic enough to not be explicable by margin of error issues.

Would put some of that down to people making errors with checkboxes, comprehension issues & trolling.

But yeah, some people just like conviction regardless of their thoughts on a case.
