I have come across a couple restaurants that specify that they are "no tip." I try to keep an eye out for those and try to give business to them. Or I avoid places with that expectation. But I usually tip around 20% in those common circumstances mentioned in this thread. I hate the system though. It's parasitic and manipulative.

It's a relatively new form of entertainment. Books, theater, movies and TV all have had more time to develop and become culturally relevant. Video games are young and have had a steep growth curve in terms of innovation, scope, and market share. I feel it will become more and more common for older folks to play games and it will become more and more acceptable and normal. I feel that mobile gaming is legit also and people might not realize that their Candy Crush or Solitaire games are video games! It's a wide and versatile type of entertainment so the people who consume it will be as well.

Okami and Katamari Damacy. I also love interactive music, some examples are Pokémon Sword/Shield, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, and Journey. If anyone has other examples please let me know.

I thought with all the drama and negativity it would be good to take stock of some positive things people got from Reddit. One of my faves was reading Woody Harrelson's crazy trainwreck AMA
