I think they’re talking about that Discovery episode where they encounter a planet of Enby people and Burnham falls in love with one of them. So woke. They even kiss.

But… alpacas do it standing up. Why do they need to turn her upside down?

It is mentioned in that one episode where they have a small village of “back to the land” type people staying in the cargo bay, along with their farm animals that they don’t have to keep sweeping up all the time, the bays will clean themselves. They just have to stop lighting cooking fires.

Returns the cart and is quite pleased with herself for having completed a human social contract ritual, even though she finds it inefficient and tedious.

Holy shit. That’s bad. There were some very poor quality studies done on whether autistic people had a worse inflammatory reaction to A1 proteins than allistic people ( https://atypicalscience.org/a1-beta-casein/ ) but they were certainly not implying that milk causes autism or that autism has a “cause” that should be avoided.

Yeah.. the red light/green light game really messed up people’s understanding of what the yellow light is for.

Yeah, it’s been “hold your nose and vote for the least insane” for a long time now, but more the choice is “the guy who supports genocide” or “the guy who really really supports genocide.”

Fucking two party first post the post bullshit. This is going to get Trump elected when the people who cant bear to vote for genocide stay home or vote third party.

Revenant is probably my favorite Trek novel, it’s the only one I know of that stars Jadzia.

“There are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.”

She’s being shitty to American Jews for something Israel’s government is doing and being overly indifferent to, if not supporting antisemitic violence in America.

She didn’t have to do that to make the point that American Muslims are also being treated badly and live in fear of retaliatory violence every time any Muslim commits a crime anywhere.
