Help with Wired Networking (alien.top)
 

Hi,
I'm still looking for the best solution for my home for wired networking,
About the home, it's 5 rooms based, 1 of the rooms is "mamad" room, 1650 square feet (150 square meters).

In total I need 3 APs/routers, 1 in living room, 1 in "mamad" room and 1 in bedroom, They all will connect with Ethernet cable.

I don't looking for something to edit in cloud, only local.
I prefer router/AP without antennas (aesthetic issues with my wife :) )

Just curious, why do you choose Deco X20?

Yes it's affordable, but they also "weak" for performance no?

Today I have at Router 1 - ASUS GT-AX6000

And in Router 3 - ASUS TUF-AX5400

The Router 3 is in "mamad" room, if I close the door, I don't have WIFI outside this room.

Today I don't have WIFI in the room where Router 2 need to be.

Thanks for reply,

- How big is your house - 150 Square Meter / 1610 Square Feet

- what is it made of - concrete and blocks

- how fast is your service - 1000 Mbps Down/100 Mbps Up

- how many users in the house - ~20+-

- Are you an advanced user, or set-and-forget type - I don't care to setup and change values from time to time, but I prefer not to works this all the time :)

Need Advice About Home Network (alien.top)
 

Hi All,

I want to create some strong WIFI network (MESH Network) on my home, it's 5 rooms based, 1 of the rooms is "mamad" room.

I have optical fiber in my home, it's come to the living room, there I need some router to connect to ISP (PPPOE) and then put some AP in the home, and also in the living room.

In the "mamad" room I need also AP (because there the WIFI signal is very low).

Until now, I thought to put some ASUS XD6 2 pack with ASUS GT-AX6000 (in the "mamad").

But I saw some recommendations about Aruba AP25, and want to hear your advice.

I know that the Aruba AP25 (or other model) not works as router (PPPOE) so I need some router before connect the APs.
