My device doesn't have a graphics card and only has two threads, so I guess it's just for higher end devices?
Tried it, my device crashes every 2 minutes in. Not worth the effort for now.
It would change the landscape of Linux gaming completely.
I myself cannot afford to lose some FPS (as in most games I can barely hit 30), but I cannot wait for the moment I can buy a gaming device and enjoy all these goodies!
If they have root access to my PC, webcam access is arguably not my biggest concern
To the people who insist on me adding a sticky note to my webcam, I can only say
sudo modprobe -r uvcvideo

The previous time I saw this book mentioned, it was downvoted to oblivion (in Lemmy of all places, where you'd expect people to be better than that).

After reading your post history, it's obvious to me why you fail to see the point. I can only hope you eventually do.
Executives are also trying to use it to eliminate the jobs of artists, and I feel it’s wrong to try and obsolete something people love doing.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to tell you that Day/Night Switcher has been finally ported to Plasma 6. I couldn't have done this with the interest by the community on the project's continuation. Anyway, let us all enjoy it.
I am only posting this in the hopes that old users who moved to Plasma 6 may catch up on the news.
