It's based on the 000 C-16 body style, but the label literally just says "custom guitar 154/200". It was part of a limited run around 2005, when I bought it new. I love it!

I deleted over 2000 comments, 300 posts, and 9 years of my Reddit data. Deleted my account afterwards, and there's no looking back. Lemmy is my new social media app.

I'm a data scientist, I'll definitely check some of these out, thanks!

Agreed, I've deleted my posts and my comments, and now my Reddit account entirely. I've burned that bridge, so there's no going back

They would get de-federated pretty quickly I would think

Agreed, having a guitar close and at the ready is like 80% of the battle as to whether I decide to play for a few minutes or not

Hmm, that's odd - I can say it wasn't deleted by the mod staff here. I won't profess to fully understand all the fediverse implications yet myself. I do see other posts like you mentioned, including ones from lemmy.ml, but I don't see your post appearing yet either. I'll keep an eye on it though, I'm curious why it isn't showing yet.

edit: Yours is a cross-post from another instance, Perhaps as a test try posting it without the x-post? Just a thought for troubleshooting.

I love the SE line of guitars. I have a zebrawood custom 24 that i swapped the pickups for a DiMarzio set, and it's absolutely killer.

I love that archtop! This seems like a jazz setup overall.

gigging regularly is a great motivator for sure.

For me, I continually watch and listen to new music and guitarists - If i practice the same things over and over and over every day, I will slowly lose interest in playing. Often I find that when i learn something half decent but hit a wall, if i come back to it in 6 months, I can break through that wall easier. It's all about fresh perspective, every day.

Even if all I do is watch some YT videos from guitar channels i follow, that can be enough inspiration on a busy day. How about you all? What keeps the inspiration flowing?

I'm a data scientist, but i lurk too with the sysadmin people. Anyone begun to use any aspects of Microsoft Fabric? It seems MS really wants to democratize data for organizations.

I wanted to create this community to talk about all things guitar related. New guitar day (NGD), pics of your favorite guitars, questions about playing or repairs, really anything you can think of. As time allows, I'll try to get us started with pics of my guitars, and playing background.

edit: added a pic of my Ernie Ball JP15!
