Yeah, guess that's true. But for now I'll just enjoy the more positive vibe I've picked up so far.

I used shreddit.com, you don't need a premium account to remove all your comments. You can just select 'all content' from the dropdown that allows you to select from which point in time you want to nuke your stuff.
Same here. This morning I've removed my ten years worth of content from Reddit as I don't want them to even generate the slightest bit of revenue from it, removed my account and do not feel bad about it in the slightest.
I'm done with the way Reddit handles the community feedback and done with the "don't you dare to have a differing opinion or we'll downvote to oblivion" mentality that prevailed in a number of subreddits.
wtf else should I do heavy breathing
I suggest enjoying that feeling of freedom. At least that's what I did after wiping all my Reddit post & comments and deleting my 10 year old account. Surprisingly enough I don't feel a shred of regret.
For me it's the GTA games since San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption 2.
I still try GTA V and RDR2 once in a while as I love the worlds in those games. But they always feel grindy really fast and just don't manage to hold my attention. A shame, as RDR2 looks gorgeous and I love the western setting, but the gameplay just doesn't connect with me.
Also doesn't help that each time I want to try picking GTA V or RDR2 up again I end up starting from scratch as I have no idea what the control scheme was. Another thing that just doesn't resonate with me I guess. Perhaps it's better with a controller, but as an avid mouse & keyboard guy all my attempts to use one ended with utter frustration.
Yeah, hard to imagine that my introduction to this game is already 25 years ago. One of my highschool classmates lived right next to the school and he had something to show us. The epic intro music, seeing that Skaarj at the end of the vent shaft through the volumetric fog..
Just mind-blowing, I was still used to things like Duke Nukem 3D in those days, Unreal was such a step forward. And that soundtrack.. unforgettable, I still listen to it regularly.
Half-Life came out so quickly after Unreal, I feel that the latter got overshadowed by it. Which is a shame, as it was an excellent game in its own right that's been underappreciated.
IP banning is such an annoyance if you are unlucky enough to only be able to deal with ISPs that do not use fixed IP addresses.
"Can't post today, because another random person got my IP 'du jour' banned in the past" is a pretty terrible user experience.
And the pro troll uses Tor or a VPN and only needs to reconnect his client to receive a fresh IP address. I consider IP banning to be a very mediocre tool at best.
Recently switched from Fedora to Manjaro.
Unfortunately I found Fedora to be too unstable for daily use. Just too many issues, some (like shim-x64 versions after 15-8 not being able to boot my system) which just didn't get fixed. And every new major version had its own new set of issues. So after seeing the umpteenth attempt to automatically install a firmware update fail due to shim-x64 being too old and the gazillionth window manager crash wiping all my open applications I bit the bullet and migrated away.
So far no major issues with Manjaro, one of the things that did work excellent on Fedora was Wireplumber automatically switching Bluetooth profiles when I connected to a online call. That seems to be a bit more unstable in Manjaro and often requires manually changing to the correct one. But I don't attend enough meetings for that really to become a major issue for me.
I've removed my Reddit account, including all comments, this morning. So I'm here to say!
