I'd like to stick with the lemmyrs instance but we are almost a full majver out of date. Is there any timeline for updates or should I just migrate?

LemmyRS's version is not even 2 months old (0.17.4, 2023-06-13), I wouldn't worry yet.

Over 2 weeks ago I asked about this situation. No reply yet. I wouldn't be so sure at this point.

I would really like some more transparency on this topic.

Wasn't there a vulnerability in lemmy less than a month ago? I remember several instances going offline until they were updated. Lemmy project is moving really fast - 2 months would be ages at this stage.

The minimum version for Jerboa is now 0.18, so this makes lemmyrs on Android require a browser (or I guess an outdated Jerboa).
