And all this while I thought Kbin stood for "Cabin"...
I'm just biased, I love them birbies!
I support this
I like the folder, sure, but these have so much character. Left is popular but the right is adorable. Love it, good job!
I love me a cockatoo!
Tired of birds or at least pushover birds not going to lie. It's never anything 🅒🅞🅞🅛
Robots are boring at this point too.
It's a nice image the one on the left, though I hope we stick with the original logo when it comes to the favicon and the progressive web app, it's a nice shaped and styled logo with a be good color
Cheers for the creativity though on that mascot image!
Yeah I don't want the Kbird to replace the folder, just a supplementary mascot
Nicely designed, but not particularly a fan of this mascot to be honest.
Left fits the current flat, minimalist aesthetic. But I want to like right more lol
Yesssss
yes left bird please
Beautiful work. I like it.
Darling! I endorse this.
The back of its head should look like a K
Super cool mascot! The left one is less cluttered, but it probably makes more sense to have the cacatua facing right. Thinking of using it as the kbin icon on a ferdium service.
Reminds me too much of a certain toxic supermod on Reddit.
As a cockatoo fan I’m 100% for this.
This is the first one of these I've liked enough to comment on, and I really really love this.
Kbird sounds like a KDE app.
Kbin mascot would have to be a friendly rat, no? Lemmy's cousin who lives in a bin.
Nah. Kbin might connect to Lemmy, but it isn't Lemmy. It's its own thing, much like how Mastodon also isn't Lemmy, although they can interconnect.
I agree that Kbin could use a mascot (not necessarily need a mascot), but IMO the current proposals are not furry enough in this year of the Fediverse of 2023.
