The original app always felt excessively cluttered and changed too much for the sake of changing. Moving here feels way better than supporting whatever the official reddit app decides to break today

The official app pushed me away when I was forced to see the 'hegetsus' crap. I've been waiting for Reddit to pull a Digg for a while and looks like the API nonsense is going to be it for me, anyway.

for me, anyway, I have to click the title again after landing on the comments page, then it shows the image.

Not sure if that's how this is supposed to work, would be nice to see it inline without the additional clicks.

This is quite accurate. I've stood up my own lemmy instance... but hitting some pretty basic issues in the process. Not sure its ready for prime time.
