In the past, I have been watching many mysterious movies because they are exciting. But life sometimes is hard enough, why should I then at home watch movies or series which are realy brutal. I feel like movies/series always need more crazy shit to be still popular.

I am looking for good funny movies/series which entertain and give you a positive feeling.

I think the world needs more positivity

I think two of the most positive comedies I've seen are:

  • South Side. An ensemble comedy about several people just living in South Chicago. While the premise is not funny on its own, the writing never fails to hit, and the writers' room has a very clear rule that everything needs to work out (to a degree).
  • The Detroiters. To me, there is something truly engaging in comedies that center around wholesome best friendships, and you can feel Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson's IRL friendship through the screen. It's a comedy about two best friends running an advertising agency that makes local ads for local TV spots, and the only sad thing about it is there are only two seasons.
